In 2000, TradeStation 6 entered the online brokerage market, followed by a 2001 restructuring of the firm to distinct between the brokerage and technology divisions. It quickly gained popularity, and Omega Research signed an exclusive deal with Dow Jones Telerate to offer TradeStation to institutional clients globally.
